The construction of the Parish Priests House is a testament to the growth and commitment of St. John’s Church of Uganda, Kirinya.
With the recent attainment of Parish status, St. John’s Church of Uganda, Kirinya, has embarked on an exciting new chapter. The elevation to a Parish brings with it a need to accommodate our growing leadership, including both a Vicar and an Assistant Vicar. As such, we are committed to constructing a new Parish Priests House to meet these needs.
The construction of the Parish Priests House is a crucial step in ensuring that our church leadership has a suitable place to reside and carry out their pastoral duties effectively. The existing house, which has been around since the original church construction, is no longer sufficient to accommodate both the Vicar and the Assistant Vicar.
Location: The new Parish Priests House will be situated within the church compound next to the Sunday School building, ensuring easy access to the church and its facilities.
Design: The house will be designed to provide a comfortable and conducive living environment for the Vicar. It will include modern amenities and sufficient space to support their work and personal lives.
Timeline: Construction is already underway, with the aim to complete the project within the next year. The timeline is dependent on the availability of resources and support from our congregation.
We invite all members of our community to support this vital project. Your contributions, whether through financial support, volunteer work, or prayers, are greatly appreciated. Together, we can ensure that our church leaders have the facilities they need to serve our parish effectively.
The construction of the Parish Priests House is a testament to the growth and commitment of St. John’s Church of Uganda, Kirinya. As we continue to expand and develop our church, we remain dedicated to fostering a strong, supportive, and loving community. We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to celebrating the completion of this important project with you all.
